I have found life easier to navigate when I set clear guardrails. For me, these are a set of values that guide my decision-making, especially when the path is unclear. They are not always easy to uphold, but that is the point. Values matter most when they are costly.

My Values:

  • I choose doing over talking. Action is the fastest way to learn what matters and what does not.

  • I prioritize movement. Moving my body sharpens my mind and builds momentum for everything else.

  • I believe in being ready. Preparation quiets anxiety and replaces uncertainty with confidence.

  • I lead with optimism. Belief in the future compels me to help shape one worth being excited about.

  • I focus on doing a few things exceptionally well. Saying no to the 'good' makes room for the 'great.'

  • I challenge my assumptions. Staying open to new facts helps me make better decisions.
