Kofi Ampadu is an investor, advisor, and operator with over 15 years of experience helping organizations navigate strategy, innovation, and long-term growth. He has invested in more than 70 early-stage companies and worked closely with leadership teams as they navigated critical inflection points, raised millions in follow-on capital, and scaled their businesses.
Most recently, Kofi led an investment fund at Andreessen Horowitz focused on discovering and backing under-resourced founders. He is also the founder and General Partner of SKUβd Ventures, a venture fund focused on consumer businesses, and is a Kauffman Fellows. Across his investing and advisory roles, he has developed a reputation for helping leaders think clearly about incentives, strategy, and the downstream consequences of early decisions.
Earlier in his career, Kofi was a founder and operator, including as the co-founder of H2Melon and Par, and previously worked as a strategy consultant and engineer advising Fortune 500 companies. He has been recognized as a Power100 Investor by Blueprint Capital Advisors and previously served on the National Advisory Council for ForbesBLK.
Kofi earned a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon Universityβs Tepper School of Business. Born in Ghana, Kofi remains deeply committed to how innovation can drastically improve the continent of Africa.
